PREA Fall Conference postmortem: Disruption 2.0

Delegates at last week’s PREA conference in Boston enjoyed the usual networking and catching up with friends old and new for which PREA has become known – that is after they crossed the picket line at Marriott’s Copley Place Hotel. It should be noted, however, the incessant chanting, beating drums and lack of room service weren’t the only differentiators from PREAs past. While normally chock full of real estate nuts and bolts discourse, this year’s gathering was light on granular real estate discussion and long on larger themes that will affect real estate in all of its forms for the foreseeable future.
