Hodes Weill Adds Capital-Raising Pro

Veteran placement agent John Chase has jumped to Hodes Weill & Associates.

He started in the past week or so in the advisory firm’s New York headquarters. He’s a managing director on the company’s global distribution team, reporting to team head and partner Matt Hershey.

Chase hails from Atlantic-Pacific Capital, a Stamford, Conn.-based placement agent where he spent 17 years as a partner. His focus there included real estate and real assets, but he also worked across investment sectors, as well as on secondary-stake transactions.

Before joining Atlantic-Pacific, Chase worked at Lazard Asset Management and served as a consultant to Recovery Group, now part of Deloitte, and the Eastern Europe Business Development
