Longfellow Real Estate Partners Announces the Closing of Longfellow Strategic Value Fund, a $500 Mil

(Boston, MA/New York, NY) - June 29, 2018 - Longfellow Real Estate Partners has announced that it has successfully closed Longfellow Strategic Value Fund, an investment vehicle with an initial equity capitalization of $500 million. The Fund will target the acquisition, development, and operation of life science and technology real estate across the United States. The new investment vehicle will seek to identify investments in growth markets that support innovation and clustering of knowledge industries.

Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts with additional offices in Durham and Morrisville, North Carolina, Longfellow has established itself as a leading player in the life science real estate segment, having aggregated a portfolio totaling over 2.0 million square feet. Longfellow has pursued this strategy since inception in 2009 and has invested capital on behalf of institutional investors through multiple investment vehicles.

Longfellow Strategic Value Fund will continue to build upon Longfellow’s expertise and experience in this investment segment. The vehicle will seek to create a diversified portfolio of assets by employing several strategies, including the purchase of stabilized assets, the conversion of properties for use by life science and technology tenants, as well as ground up development of new properties.
