Stuart Elizabeth Baldwin is a Partner of Hodes Weill & Associates, a leading global capital advisory firm focused on real estate, infrastructure and other real assets with offices in New York, Denver, London, Amsterdam, and Hong Kong.  She is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee.  Ms. Baldwin joined Hodes Weill at inception in 2009 and leads its Project Management team. In this role, Ms. Baldwin is responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of the firm’s real estate capital raising and advisory mandates globally, working closely with real estate managers.   

 

Previously, Ms. Baldwin was a Vice President of Credit Suisse, based in New York. Ms. Baldwin rejoined Credit Suisse in April 2008 as a member of the Real Estate Investments Group (REIG), which included the firm's real estate investment businesses within the Alternative Investment Group. As of March 2009, REIG had over 250 professionals and approximately $40 billion of assets under management in a range of core, opportunistic and securities (long and hedged) funds and separate accounts, and a newly formed Customized Fund of Funds business.  Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 2008, Ms. Baldwin was an Associate of Black Creek Group, a real estate private equity firm focused on creating and managing real estate operating companies. Ms. Baldwin began her career at Credit Suisse in the Real Estate Private Fund Group, Credit Suisse's third-party real estate fund raising business.

 

Ms. Baldwin received a BS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Baldwin is a member of WX, Inc., New York Women Executives in Real Estate.
