ASSIGNMENT

 

Hodes Weill Securities, LLC acted as exclusive global placement agent to Rialto Capital Management, LLC (“Rialto”) in connection with the private placement of interests in Rialto Real Estate Fund II (the "Fund"). Rialto is a leading real estate investment, finance and asset management company with a vertically-integrated real estate platform.

 

OUTCOME/RESULTS

The Fund represents Rialto’s second real estate fund investing primarily in distressed loans, value-add real estate opportunities and high-yielding debt securities in the U.S. The final closing of the Fund reached its hard cap of US$1.3 billion, 35% above the initial target of US$950 million. The fund raise concluded 12 months following first closing and 15 months from the commencement of formal marketing. The placement achieved strong institutional support which included a mix of endowments, foundations, public and private pension funds, global financial institutions, family offices, fund of funds and an insurance company.
