Michael Lisa is a Principal at Hodes Weill & Associates.  Mr. Lisa is responsible for coverage of institutional investors and consultants in the western U.S. and select markets of the Midwest and Texas.  He is also responsible for expanding the firm’s institutional coverage in Latin America.  Mr. Lisa was previously a senior project manager at Hodes Weill helping to diligence, underwrite, structuring and facilitating fundraising and advisory assignments.  Mr. Lisa helped lead the development and publication of the Institutional Real Estate Allocations Monitor, the firm’s annual research report on global allocations, which is published in partnership with Cornell University’s Baker Program in Real Estate.

Previously, Mr. Lisa was an associate director of the U.S. Structured Finance Group at Fitch Ratings in New York, where he was responsible for assigning credit ratings to newly issued commercial mortgage-backed securities transactions in both the U.S. and Canada. In this role, he was involved in the investment and credit analysis of commercial real estate loans and the publication of investor presale reports.
