Howard Roth founded HSR Advisors, a consulting firm which provides strategic, transactional, financial and operational guidance to C-Suite executives and boards upon his retirement as a Partner at EY where he led the firm’s global Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction (RHC) practice. During his tenure, EY’s RHC practice attracted top professionals from other firms and achieved the #1 global brand recognition ranking among similar Real Estate professional service providers as recently surveyed by a third party organization. Earlier in his service to EY, which spans over 30 years, Mr. Roth led the firm’s NY Real Estate industry practice and tax practices. Through extensive global travel, Mr. Roth has developed and maintains personal and effective relationships with senior client executives, industry leaders and EY firm leadership throughout North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-pacific Region. His experience includes transactional analysis, tax structuring, and judicial and non-judicial reorganizations. He has also led the effort for EY’s digital solutions to the Real Estate industry including Smart Buildings, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics and Robotic Process Automation.  Mr. Roth graduated from Hofstra University with a B.B.A. in accounting, is a CPA, a former trustee and governor of the Urban Land Institute and an active member of the Real Estate Roundtable and the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE). He has been a speaker at key industry events and a columnist and commentator for major industry publications, newspapers and media.
