Andy Martin is former CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory UK, following its merger with Strutt & Parker in October 2017. Previously, he was the Senior Partner at Strutt & Parker from 2009, having joined the firm in 1985 and headed its commercial team from 2005. Andy’s areas of expertise lie in strategy setting, funding, investment, development, masterplanning and placemaking. He provided strategic advice to the Arlington Business Parks Partnership for over 30 years and has based much of his activity using research led advice. He is a trustee and until recently sat on the Foundation Fund Board of the Urban Land Institute and is a life member of the Investment Property Forum.

Andy is an operating partner of Greenpoint Partners and is Chair of the Lysara, their European Energy Transition Infrastructure business. He also sits on the Advisory Boards of global real estate advisory firm, Hodes Weill & Associates, and brokerage and investment banking firm, Stifel, a senior advisor to Brydell Partners LLP, Chairman of Charles Irvine LLP, Senior advisor to Longfellow, a US life science REIT, Non Exec Director at Crick Skyline an new venture for the Francis Crick Institute he help create the strategy and the implementation of. He was a member of the Genome Campus development board at Wellcome Trust to gain planning for the new extension of 150,000 sq metres and 1500 new homes for scientists. He also has Senior Advisor roles in proptech start-ups, Placemake.io and Plentific.

Andy is Chair of the Trustees of the Creative Land Trust, a charity formed to provide long term affordable accommodation for artists, and a VP of MD Campaign.
