Will Rowson is a Partner of Hodes Weill & Associates. Mr. Rowson is responsible for the origination of new business, project management of client mandates and coverage of real estate investors within the EMEA region. He is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. Mr. Rowson has 32 years of experience in the real estate industry and started his career at King & Co (now JLL) in London, then became a Partner at Strutt and Parker before joining ING Real Estate Investment Management in 2003 as Director of European Fund Management. Between 2005 and 2008 he led the company’s Transaction Team in Continental Europe from the European headquarters in Amsterdam before being appointed CIO, a member of the EMEA Executive Committee and Chair of the European Investment Committee in 2008. Mr. Rowson continued in these roles at CBRE Global Investors after the purchase of ING REIM by CBRE in 2011 and was also a member of the Global Leadership Team.
Mr. Rowson is a frequent contributor to the real estate press in Europe and has written articles for PERE, Property EU, Institutional Real Estate Europe, and Estates Gazette. He has also chaired and spoken at events organized by Private Equity Real Estate (PERE), IPE Real Estate, Property EU and Estates Gazette.
Mr. Rowson holds an Honors Degree in Estate Management from University of the West of England, where he has lectured on International Real Estate, became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and later attended senior management training at IMD in Lucerne. He is a past Chairman of the ULI Retail and Entertainment Council for EMEA and a current member of the Investment Property Forum International Group. He is also a Strategic Advisor to Bricklane Residential REIT plc.
