Hodes Weill Appoints Andy Martin to Advisory Board

October 30, 2015

Hodes Weill & Associates (Hodes Weill), a global real estate advisory boutique, has appointed Andy Martin as an Advisory Board Member.

Andy is Senior Partner at Strutt & Parker, one of the largest and most successful independent property partnerships in the UK, with a network of offices throughout England and Scotland plus an alliance with Catella in Europe. He was appointed Trustee of the Urban Land Institute in April 2015, following two years as Chairman of the ULI’s United Kingdom District Council and was formerly Chairman and Board member of the UK based Investment Property Forum, where he is now a life member.

Andy’s areas of expertise lie in funding, investment, development, master-planning and place-making. He has been involved in a series of private placements and continues several roles as a strategic consultant. He was responsible for creating the Business Park Index with the IPD, now regarded as a benchmark for the industry, and he also set up the Strutt & Parker IPD Lease Events Review. Andy is frequently involved in Industry panels and advisory groups and also sits on the affiliate advisory board for Christie’s International Real Estate, of which Strutt & Parker is the sole UK affiliate. He started his career at Richard Ellis, now CBRE, before joining Strutt and Parker in 1985.

Will Rowson, Partner at Hodes Weill said: “Andy Martin brings a wealth of experience in property to Hodes Weill and through his positions on various advisory boards and panels is a hugely respected figure within the UK and European real estate industry. His extensive contact base will be a huge asset to the business as we continue to grow. We’re delighted to welcome him to our Advisory Board.”

Andy Martin added: “The Advisory Board at Hodes Weill is made up of some of the industry’s leading figures and I look forward to being a part of this group at a key point of Hodes Weill’s European development. With the European real estate market at peak since the 2008 crash, the awareness, insight, astute investment knowledge and sound advice make Hodes Weill a growing force in the sector.”
