Richard Mully is an experienced real estate investor based in London, where he currently serves as a Main Board member and Chairman of Risk Committee for Aberdeen Asset Management PLC, the largest independent asset management group in Europe. He also serves as senior non-executive director for two European REIT's, Hansteen Holdings PLC in the UK and Alstria Office REIT-AG in Germany. He has recently been appointed to the boards of St Modwen Properties PLC, the UK's leading land regeneration company and ISG plc, a specialist international construction services group. He has a number of private equity roles, including acting as Senior Advisor to Actis LLP, the leading emerging markets private equity franchise. Mr Mully was previously the co-Founder and Managing Partner of Soros Real Estate Partners and it's successor firm, Grove International Partners LLP, where he had primary responsibility for these firm's investment strategy in Europe and served on the Investment Committee of each of the firm's funds. Prior to his career in fund management, Mr Mully was an investment banker, including as Partner, Managing Director and Head of European Real Estate for Bankers Trust Company. He has a BS in Economics from University College London and an MBA Finance from CASS Business School.
