Pritzker Realty Group, an experienced multifamily investor and developer, was seeking a partner to execute a build-to-core strategy for multifamily assets in high growth and high barrier to entry markets with best in class regional operating partners.
Hodes Weill capitalized on the unique aspects of the opportunity: strong sponsorship; attractive joint venture agreements with established operating partners; significant sponsor commitment and attractive seed assets. While initially targeting a consortium of investors, one prominent U.S.-based public pension fund opted to pursue the opportunity and capitalized the venture alone. The joint venture was capitalized by a U.S.-based public pension fund.
