Hodes Weill Securities, LLC acted as financial advisor to an affiliate of AREA Property Partners in connection with securing joint venture equity capital for an urban office portfolio. The portfolio was comprised of Class A core and value-added assets with a concentration of credit tenants under long-term leases. The capital partner’s investment was to be used to recapitalize the transaction and fund near-term leasing capital.
After outreach and discussions with multiple institutional investors, the sponsor reached an agreement with a U.S.-based insurance company for the target amount at favorable terms.
